Established in 1854, BJP is the world’s longest-running photography magazine. It places an emphasis on innovation and invention; the concepts and creative processes that inspire those rare photographs that have the power to grab and hold your attention. While the Technology section brings you reviews of the latest gear, it is more a photography journal than camera magazine. Ideas have the greatest currency here; for each issue, they seek out new talent to showcase in the Projects section, alongside interviews with more established names – the kind of photographers who’ve already left an indelible mark on our visual memory – together with reports on the latest trends. In the Intelligence section, briefings and opinion on the latest thinking about the medium and how to make it work as a business are discussed.
